About the Camp

Girls Remixedhood is a tech camp for girls have completed 5th grade through those who have graduated 8th grade.

Girlhood Remixed Technology Camp offers young women of southern New Mexico access to digital tools not only to help them grow interests in technology but also to allow them to grow as valuable members of their communities by exploring what it means to be a girl today. The camp is designed to empower young girls, enlighten them of the possibilities to create technical projects beyond traditional learning and bridge the gender gap between technology and technical writing.
